Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Drive Log, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

Description of Service

Drive Log is a mobile application for iOS that helps users track and log driving sessions, monitor driving hour progress, and maintain vehicle service records. The app is developed and provided by Last8.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Drive Log on any Apple device that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the data you enter into Drive Log.
  • You should not use the app in any way that distracts from safe driving. Never interact with Drive Log while operating a vehicle.
  • Drive Log is a logging and tracking tool. It should not be used as a substitute for paying full attention to the road and your surroundings.
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding driving and the use of mobile devices while driving.

Data and Privacy

Your use of Drive Log is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. You retain full ownership of all data you create within the app.

Intellectual Property

Drive Log, including its name, logo, visual design, and all related content, is the intellectual property of Last8. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the application without our prior written consent.

Disclaimers

Drive Log is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy of GPS data or distance calculations
  • The precision of fuel efficiency estimates
  • That driving hour logs will satisfy official licensing or permit requirements in all jurisdictions
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the application

Driving hour logs are provided for personal reference purposes. Please check with your local licensing authority to confirm whether app-generated logs meet their specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Last8 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Drive Log.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be reflected by a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Drive Log after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Drive Log at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
